Allocation of funds

In the Fiscal Year 2015, the Cancer Research Society Board of Directors approved a budget of 14.2 million dollars to research. This represents 160 research projects which will be supported this FY2015 (including 70 new projects from our regular annual competition). In addition to our Operating Grants coming from previous competitions, projects jointly funded with various partners will also continue to be funded. Through its new Next Generation of Scientists program, the Society will continue supporting the establishment of new scientists across the country.

The funds invested in 2015

During the past 15 years, the Cancer Research Society has granted $112 million to some 704 cancer research projects.
