Allocation of funds

In the Fiscal Year 2016, the Cancer Research Society Board of Directors approved a budget of 15.2 million dollars to research. This represents 174 research projects which will be supported this FY2016 (including 75 new projects from our regular annual competition). In addition to our Operating Grants coming from previous competitions, projects jointly funded with various partners will also continue to be funded. Through its new Next Generation of Scientists program, the Society will continue supporting the establishment of new scientists across the country.
