The Cancer Research Society (CRS) is one of the numerous not-for-profit organizations that contribute to the fight against cancer. The CRS stands apart from all other organizations through its solid scientific legacy. For more than 65 years now, the CRS’s unique focus has been to help Canadian researchers better understand cancer.
Research remains the key in the fight against this terrible disease, which directly affects more than one in three Canadians. We currently know there are over 200 different types of cancer. A better understanding of the mechanisms involved in the development of all forms of cancer will enable us to eradicate it. This is why, now more than ever, research is vital.
