In 2020, the Cancer Research Society is celebrating its 75th anniversary while the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation marks its 25 years of supporting breast cancer research and the women affected with the disease. Together, the two organizations are celebrating 100 years of cancer research. To commemorate this historical milestone, the Cancer Research Society and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation announce the joint funding of one or more major research projects targeting metastatic breast cancer.
Total budget Maximum funding from the two organizations is $1,500,000/3 years. Additional funds from other sources, either in kind or in cash, are not required for this grant. However, if available, they could be included in a project budget to strengthen an application.
