In the Fiscal Year 2017, the Cancer Research Society Board of Directors approved a budget of $13.8 million to research. This represents 166 research projects which will be supported this FY2017 (including 61 new projects from our regular annual competition). In addition to our Operating Grants from previous competitions, projects jointly funded with various partners will also continue to be funded. Through its Scholarships for the next generation of scientists program, the Society will continue supporting the establishment of new scientists across the country. Indeed, three young researchers were awarded this year thanks to this program.

You can consult the research projects by cancer type in the section Research and cancer.
